That is the one Paddy great little kettle - Julie said I even made a decent cup of tea using it - which is a first for me as I don't drink tea or coffee :D Just Brandy and good red wine. O-)

Got the box of eBay £15 has lid with tiedown straps getting the batt in halfords 110 amp lessure batt £89 with 2year g/t hard to beat,putting it into a box just to be on the safe side and as I've said venting it into the m/h box .

Fitted a snipe satellite dish last week, auto retracts when engine started. Tested well at the weekend and all's good. Need a new set top box now for hd.

The good thing about the snipe is that it can be used on a windy day whereas a dish cannot. They are a lovely compact setup for the roof of any motorhome. :up:

I guess not everyone will know thunder box = toilet.
The reason people have a spare is that it extends the time you can use the van without finding the facilities to empty the thunder box.

I for one didn't know what a thunderbox box thought it was something to do with fireworks

I understand the explanation of why you want one but I would have no trust in it not leaking if it was full they always seem to slightly when going to empty and I bet they cost a fortune as compared to say some thing like the wheeled fiamma waste water tank or even one of the cheap black ones both which do seal and would be quite easy to empty into and from.

David, they are not that expensive if you buy the Refresher Kit which includes 2 bottle of stuff and a new top for the toilet. I think I paid £80 which is not bad.

Ah, now I'm on the case. It crossed my mind a few weeks ago, about how and where to empty the cassette, Rev, that is a sound idea. Are you concerned about leakage, and do you keep the full one in the garage? Would it be a good idea to highlight public toilets on the craic map? :ninja:

It is possible to add a second housing for your spare cassette if you have space.
They just need swapped over when required.

I Put my spare cassette in a vacuum storage bag just pop it in and suck it closed with the Hoover no leaks or smells you can get them in heatons
