Come on Fat controller you know what I mean. Any gadgets etc. that makes life more enjoyable. Buying diesel at he price of it is against my religion but I have to do it. Lol

Hi Jack,

Bought 4 new tyres for the van. Toyo HO9 winter tyres (215 X 75R 16C load116 ) £472 from Oponeo. Fast efficient service and lots of interesting articles on their site.

Old tyres are 2004 manufacture and as you know consensus is change them at about 5-6 years and certainly for any tyre 10 years is makers advice.

Old tyres only have about 25000 miles and are like new, but I am a bit OCD on tyres.

I wild camp and park on grass at rallies so winter tyres come highly recommended. Low mileage over the next lot of years balance out any faster wear rate or lower MPG..

Any body want the old tyres (sold as seen) £40

Purchased a 24" Flatscreen TV/DVD to replace my 19" Flatscreen TV/DVD in the rear and fitting a 16" Avtex TV/DVD in the front for those who don,t watch football. :up:

just got a multimo satellite, hoping it will be easier to use than the aldi one I've had for the last few years.

Two rear wheel bearings to prevent one of the back wheels from passing me when I'm driving along the road. However it hasn't stopped the rear end whine although the running gear and pinion have been checked and appear fine. Probably a bent or unbalanced driveshaft causing it

The whine is not that bad but appears from 20 to 100 mph + (on an airstrip at a drag weekend lol) it gets louder under load and decelerating. All the gubbins looked ok in the rear end and universals were good
It is an easily bearable noise and not currently worth further expenditure. Lol a cheaper option than replacing the rear end would be a louder stereo

2folding poolside loungers :) , some raskelf bedding and a box of beer and a ground sheet, fed up walking sand etc into the van, last one we had I had to dump it on a site in France as I didn't clean it properly before folding it up, so we had ants

Got a small Kipor 1kw Generator, it's only for charging batteries in emergency's as everything I have is 12volt.

Just a small portable dish, used it whilst at Kilkenny & Kildare as I had no Saorview box, it worked fantastic. Just fitted today a port on the outside of the van so it is always wired up inside, just attach dish and go:)

Lol. In part that's a true concern...at least the chains only need to be carried in likely heavier snow conditions as the M&S tyres can cope the remainer of the time.

We just bought a tracker, just in case our motorhome goes walkies!
Easy to transfer if you change MH and we got it a lot cheaper than the price given as the company advertise also on Ebay and it is sold at "bids" and not a "buy it now price". We bided our time and finally got it at a price we could afford!

I'm just taking delivery of a new motorhome in a couple of weeks. I have had a caravan so I have most of the "bits and pieces". The challenge will be to manage without some of the things which I previously considered essential as there will be much less space. At this stage the only item I plan on buying for the new van is a second leisure battery.

External screens by silver screens ( Paragon) make sure you ask for vent cover at no extra cost apparently Taylor made are also good and cheaper
Some good forums on internet comparing. I bought a cheaper make and were poor fit, sold them on e bay

No, insurers will not give discount but we just thought of the peace of mind and not paying anymore once purchased so that good enough for us. (You have to put some credit on the sim card )
Fitting it tomorrow, it all charged up and ready to go! It has some very good reviews, will try to update you at a later date. :up:

Would you be willing to do a seperate write up on this Ana? A user review from your point of view? Where to buy, how easy/hard it is to set up, maybe go through the user interface a bit?
It looks like a very useful piece of kit. Something others could definitely benefit from.
