Irish Ferries to France 2012

I have used the free offer from Irish Ferries this past few years. I don't use it in high season of July or August as it does carry a supplement but travelling outside of that period it is totally free. I also have on occassion asked Irish ferries to use the Swift ferry instead of the slow boat and they charged me €10 each way for admin costs. Didn't have any problems with them.

for info although you lot probably already know, you can avail of hook-up on Irish Ferries FOC , just ask as you are booked in, or put on your hazard lights as you enter the boat, handy, if like us you have a fridge full of groceries before you leave.

also, the argument that driving down thro' England is as cheap as Rosslare-France, i dont think so.

return crossing P&O or Stena Belfast/Larne is best part of £400.00, dieel to Folkestone plus we usually went the tunnel which is great , costs best part of £200 return, you could nearly get a 5 start cabin for the same price with Irish Ferries, we used to always go England and stay at family as an overnight north of London, but the driving in England is so monotinous, so couple yrs back we tried our first Rosslare-France, just over 4 hrs takes us to Rosslare from the north.

Regards electric up on the ferry is it the stanard plug you use on board.
