Where to go at Easter

Hi I am new to all this and am going away with my 13 year old son the Easter weekend from Thursday to Monday.
Just wondering has anyone got any suggestions where to go that will keep a 13 year old from getting bored and also would b near a pub so we could watch football on tv
I live in Dublin and would like to go to a campsite but would go wild camping if the surroundings were right. May b a mixture of both.
Thanks in advance
Regards Matt

cobh aire in cork wouldnt be a bad stopover. 10 min walk to cobh, short drive to fota and a train trip into cork is only about 15 mins. a tenner a night, but i think 2 nights is the max you can stay.
keel beach in achil has a great campsite if you fancy the drive.
Theres a good aire in carlingford, and its a walk into the town.

Portrush in N.I., choice between campsites or an aire in the town. Good restaurants, good pubs and plenty on offer to keep a 13 year old happy

Are you new to motorhoming, or new to the Craic. If it's both, I would keep it simple. Not too far from home and go for a campsite, hopefully with other Motorhomers for help or advice. Good way to try it all out.

If your an auld hand, then get the Motorhome Parking Ireland app and take your pick of where to go.

PS. As an Elvis collector we will hope to see some pics soon. There is a section called "hobbies, other than motorhoming".

Hidden Valley Rathdrum , if you can get a booking , and Dicks place in Ardmore Waterford for a bit of wild camping .
Bound to be other Motorhomes in both places for Easter , Maybe two days in each .

We are going to Tralee and just noticed the ACSI card is not valid for Easter.

I'd recommend Ferrybank camping in Wexford town for your first trip. Large well laid out site within 10 minute easy stroll to heart of the town. Pubs cafes restaurants galore and lovely walks by the beach shore too. Ideal first trip and only 1.5 hours from Dublin.
