Very funny but even experienced skiers can come a cropper. We have skied for 30 years plus and ski everything except off piste now. Last year I fell off a chair lift while trying to retrieve a ski pole the missus dropped. The rule is if you drop it leave it but I thought better and leaned forward to pick it up. My ski caught the ground and pulled me off. Normally I wouldn’t care but it was right in front of a load of people who had a good laugh. Probably wondering why the auld fella is learning to ski at his age
