Donaghadee 10th September

Ards and North Down Borough Council

There is an event at The Commons in Donaghadee on Saturday 10 September, a large section of the car park there will be closed off and therefore the site will not be able to accommodate as many motorhomes as often turn up there. Access to the Service Point will still be possible.

We just want to get the message out as widely as possible in case motorhomers turning up have to be turned away.

Indeed Brian, surely some day the other councils will follow suit.

Anywhere else near hand to park up? Or would it be too busy to chance it?

Maybe whoever sent the email could be asked if the old bus station could be opened for motorhomes.

I'll ask the question, probably get full of cars if it's opened though. The car park beside it I reckon will be swamped also.

Hi Ally

Unfortunately because the Translink site is not in Council hands (I had thought, wrongly, that we recently bought it), there are too many insurance issues for us to resolve with Translink in order to use the site for motorhomers parking. I would suggest any motorhomes coming to Donaghadee next weekend come in good time to find alternative parking to the Commons.
