The 48 seconds means that whilst you're cooking the next one you have time to butter the previous one and eat it hot. I'm really liking mine.

The Aura griller looks great - whilst looking at it on Amazon there was one comment to be aware of: "Makes great toasties but there are two exposed screwheads on the insides of the handles, that when I've been getting the toast out, I've very badly burned my fingers on and had to stick them fast under running cold water. It's not safe to use unless you remember to hold it in very specific ways every time you use it. I'm surprised it passed any safety tests and is on sale at all, for that reason."

A continental, so didn't have one. I threw out the microwave when I sold the Chevy because I knew I had a cleaner spare one at home. The one I fired in the skip would have fitted perfectly into the wardrobe, the one I replaced it with is much bigger and will only fit in sideways. Hence I can seldom be bothered to take it out and use it whilst on hookup. I have been living on a staple diet of toast and salads this past few weekends. We dont eat bread at home normally so the novelty factor may soon wear off.

We have an 800 watt toaster. Works perfect off the 1500 watt inverter, and as it’s only in for a few minutes, it doesn’t drain the batteries

I’ll stick with the toaster for now, with the frying pan, kettle and small pot for the beans, the hob is pretty full already. Looks good though
