Hi Floks,
New To This...... and it,s great to have a read of of all the topics posted.
we are thinking of going up to the giants causeway and the only site that seem to be near by..
is ballyness which looks nice .
would anybody know of any other site,s in that area.
It would be great to here from you.

I stayed at the carrick-a-rede bar in Ballintoy 2 weeks ago
they have a carpark for about 6 units no facilities but free and only about 2-3 miles from GC

you can get food in pub

I have stayed in the GC Carpark overnight, far right hand corner. Usually 2 or 3 others there and no problems

We are national trust members. Do you need to be members to stay in the carpark or can anyone use it?

During certain hours it appears if you are not an NT member you will be charged for the car park...last time I was there they disappeared after about 8pm leaving the car park open to free parking...I imagine if you are still there in the morning they might be looking to charge you (non members) however I'm sure an enquiry at the hotel would give the definitive answer.

if you are members you can park overnight.

can also overnight in the national trust property in crom(enniskillen) if you are a member

Stayed in Ballyness last weekend. Fabulous park. Quiet and clean. Staff very friendly also.

Good info many thanks,we plan to visit the causeway when we come over from England for the MCC National in 4vans in May, so another stop over place noted.

we stayed in bushmills carpark, the one where the bus for the giants causeway goes...also springhill national trust £6 for the night, not too far away.
