Been there lots of times. Nice walk down through forest into town. Go the other way onto main road and there is a nice pub/restaurant ...The Merry Monk

Good people at Belleek, The Merry Monk is an Aire and figures in the sad SAFENIGHTS. Good grub, just `cos it`s local :D

Anyone know of a place to park for a couple of hours to visit Belleek woods? It looks like height barriers at the entrance on google street view.

Go to Belleek Castle and take the tour of the castle it is well worth it ,they have a great Armoury room and collection of fossil ,then go for your walk in the woods from the castle

Keep an eye out for the Concrete boat in the bay.
And lunch in the cafés is also excellent

Not sure if its the same one, but the first ever concrete boat was built by a craic'er a long time ago and its still being used.

Not the same one , it was built during the war.

I totally agree, the tour of the castle, and in particular the Armoury, is well worth it.
