Anyone else gone or going to this ?

I can think of a few spots to park up but i'm not sure if they'll be available that weekend.

The obvious spot is the Bus Eireann car park at the bottom of the town.

I have a definite spot 5 miles away but would like to get somewhere within stumbling distance ^_^

I'm definately going. I go most years, but this will be the first year that I have a motorhome. There is an official festival campsite about 2 miles out the Bundoran road with a shuttlebus service, but the cost to stay there is €45 per person, not vehicle! This cost is wheather your staying 1 night or 3. There are very limited services available at this site and a shuttle bus will be used to take campers to the local G.A.A. pitch for showering facilities.
From being there previous years, parking will be limited throughout the town and the carpark behind the bus station is usually full. There is a campsite on the Enniskillen road out of Ballyshannon but I've heard mixed reports about it. I have one or two areas in mind to park but I'm not sure what restrictions there might be. Parking near the football pitch might be an option, should be reasonably quiet and it's close to town (although you will have steps to stumble up at the end of the night)!

Cheers Marty.

I know a few good wild spots around the area and in Kinlough close by but was hoping for something in the town.

Definately not paying €45 :'(

I suupose it's just a taxi in and back on each day so it's not that big a deal.

I didn't realise that this clashes with Kilkenny aswell so still undecided ;-)
