Hi new to these post, so bare with me, I am going to Killarney town to an event in the INEC muckross road at the end of March. Does anyone know somewhere to park up for four or five nights with out going into those expensive caravan parks. As I just read some reviews on park owners switching of power at 11 o'clock at night

Hi Seamus.

Maybe you should wait until Brit_Stops publish there Irish edition im sure he will have Killarney covered.

On another point i have never heard of any campsite owner switching off the power at night,i know a few people that need power all night for medical reasons. If this is the case I think these sites should be named to make people aware of it

Yes Ken, someone experienced the electric being turned off and mentioned it on a previous Kilarney post 2 years ago.

:D

Plus our shower/toilet doesn't close :) - all we need now are Northerners that actually use campsites, instead of spending their money in pubs ;)

Did we mention we also have a heated social tent? sorry this thread is about Killarney :)
