We're thinking of heading towards Sneem in County Kerry for a couple of nights....another camper told us that he stays in the grounds of the Parknasilla hotel near Sneem. Has anyone else stayed there or near there, if so, how was it?

I was in sneem a few weeks ago and spotted a motorhome sign on the left as you approach from the parknasilla side,

It looked like a lads garden with a steep enough drop into his garden, I didn't get a very good look as I was driving a truck and concentrating on keeping my mirrors away from the bushes,

But dan murphys sounds good :D

Thanks all, there's a BnB offering parking on the SNI site, that might be the one by Dan Murphys.
I'd say we'll just head over and see what's what when we get there.
PS: This looks like it's going to be a really useful website BTW......thanks again.

Great place beside church in Sneem check in at Pub across the road I think its Dan Murphys bar. Wavecrest the campsite about 8 miles towards Waterville is open in winter need to give them a ring ahead to check. Enjoy one of the best areas in Ireland. :D
