We ran a day tour business for 14 years and 10 years using this mini bus x but converted it in 2012 into our "Tommybago" it's just the right size for us both.

Love it, those mercs are virtually indestructible and easier to live with compared to some of the newer ones.

Yes Jack!
I had a 1995 one, they were mechanically bullet proof, Rust was their weak point.

Tommybago, loving the wagon.
Used to drive the Mercedes vans at work, great vans and a super conversion by yourselves.

Upon hearing that you were at vantastival, I was stewarding at the craic area, jesus you fairly lapped on arrival. I must have seen you pass ten times. Only one of the craicers perks was our own area filled with like minded lampers. If you had no sense of sanity you should have identified yourself, always the next time.

HaHaHa x first we didn't know where we were aiming for then we had to find the yurt to drop off my stuff then we were deciding where to park then we realised we need water then the rope was put up on our final approach !! hence the drive around. :D After vantastival we stayed at carlingford x what a loveyt place then to Athlone for the night and a few pints. The makeover was a joint effort of our friends and a pro carpenter - friend - we bought a leaking caravan and stripped it out. The carpenter sadly is now in the Uk for work !!
