Hi all -

We are new on here... looking forward to spending a month or so in this glorious island of Ireland.

First off, I'm wondering if I just spent 100 plus pounds by using my Three network UK phone's data plan for a day here in Northern Ireland?

I suppose it would work the other way... anyone on here from NI.. Is it OK to use your data plan in mainland UK without any extra fees or roaming?

Thank you & cheers-

NI is UK so exactly the same as England Scotland or Wales :)

Plus you can roam in the South of Ireland for free as you are on Three.

Thanks Alley.

That's what I was hoping. The folks on the 333 service line didn't even know what North Ireland was! Thought it was Ireland & couldn't understand the difference.

What made me think there is really a difference is because when I dialed 333, I was forced to listen to a long message explaining roaming rates. I figured Three knew where I was calling from & counted me in as roaming.
