Did anyone get pressies which will be motorhome friendly?

Two of mine will be great for the motorhome.

A kindle will reduce the weight of books I take to France .
A new garmin satnav with lifetime updates will give me no excuses for getting lost any more.

Any more?

Yea, got a netbook for the van (and at home). little Samsung N145 mostly decided by the alleged battery life of 10 hours (optimistic, ) If I get 6 on a regular basis it will do the weekend. It will save me having to drive an old laptop through an inverter.

Hope to get a long range wifi ariel sometime.

Also sent off for ACSI book for 2012 which includes camping carnet for free. Bit of a bargain.

Also bought online a 5 ton 4.5 metre towing strap with hooks at either end for ease of connection on ebay, reckon I will be the vehicle needing pulled out of the mud/grass, soI think it is only polite that I supply a suitable tow line!! (A1-autobits on e bay)

Nice one Davy. Enjoy your new toys.

The strap sounds like a plan. Don't have a rope or strap in the van at the moment.
