I'm on new email liquid which tastes good, trying to figure it out, it's cigar flavour, but it's like sweety sour fizzy cola flavour.

Day 22, had my first major smoke craving 20 minutes ago after a kebab, but resisted it.
Honestly its easy and this is the first time I have tried to stop in 23 years.

Was four years of the weed in October 2017 but still on the e-cig until 12th October 2017. Smoked my last e-cig liquid the night before we went to Spain for a holiday. Not touched it since.

Still get the odd craving but they are getting less and less and only last for a few seconds.

I was on zero nicotine on the e-cig for a few months before stopping completely, so knew it was mainly habit.

Off the weed now for almost 9 years. No regrets. Was a very heavy smoker. The money I saved paid for a Carribbean cruise(which is not expensive as you would think). For the first couple of months I bought something for myself regularly and said it was savings from the weed.Anyone off them well done, anyone trying keep it up you will get there.

I really hate to see children coming out of schools and lighting their fags knowing fine well that in later years most of them will be battling to stop the very same habit.

I have taken a break from smoking since last November. Saving about €350 per month.
The odd day in work, I could have a few but that stays in work.
Currently I use an e cig which started at 18 mg but now I'm down to 3 mg.
A fellow craicer advised me at the Halloween meet, as to take a break from smoking, instead of giving up. So far it's holding true for me.

I'm off them about 7 years and tried everything but my heart was never really in it even though I had directly related cancer twice.

I found the Nicorette inhalator to be great and used it for about 4 months and then got too mean to buy it 8-)

I think it is better than ecigs because it does not look as "normal" as an ecig so you are using it like a medicine rather than ecigs which I see people using as all the time and also mixing cigarettes with them.
^^^^^^^
I hope the above makes sense

The other thing I would say is don't try on a usual day such as ash Wednesday or new year because you are putting yourself under pressure needlessly.pick your own day

Been off the dreaded weed 10 years, must admit I did enjoy them but a little medical problem prompted me to pack it in. From memory I recall always having money in my pocket this lasted about 3 months when I bought a M/H, enough said. One encouragement I sometimes get and find it invaluable is the smell of a smoker, to think I was like that, it makes me glad I stopped. I would encourage anyone to give up for health/ financial and social reasons 😎

Having never smoked I can’t understand why someone would grow a plant, harvest It, dry it , chop it up, roll it into a piece of paper, set fire to it and then suck the smoke and fumes into their lungs. My dad was a 40 -60 a day smoker until he took his first heart attack. The doctor told him to stop or it would kill him. He had tried many times to stop but always went back on them. The doctors advice worked and he stopped immediately. For a long time he hid a packet of 10 and a box of matches under the seat of his car just in case. To his credit he never touched them and having talked to smokers I realise how hard this must have been for him. So keep it up Chevy

I suppose a smoker could say the same thing about a drinker, why would you want to drink alcohol wake up next morning with a hang over. At least you will not do this every day is my answer and hopefully I will not smell like a peat factory.

Still on the e cig over 3 1/2 years later. Using 6mg nicotene. Took a drag of a cigarette Christmas 3 years ago and it was disgusting. I believe I will never smoke again. Probably about 2 - 3 times a year on stressful days I wish I could have more nicotene but not a cigarette, but it will soon be time to get rid of the crutch which is the e cig.

John, I stopped 1 month ago, and as usual, i feel great.
I regularly try, and always go cold turkey.
There is an app you can download called Easyquit Stop smoking thats i am finding is a great help.
So far for the month i have saved 235 euro, said no to 391 cigs, and have a lot of helath functions in the positive.
I also believe in positive reinforcement, ( telling yourself the drunker you get, the less you want to smoke), works for me so far.
Best of luck with it
