I have the Gaslow system in our van but have found getting LPG pumps in ROI a bit difficult.

It should do for months but we had a problem which caused us to lose all our gas one time.

I found this link afterwards which would have been a big help at the time.

Not quite sure what a Gaslow system is, but I take it you fill up at any LPG garage?

If so, that list leaves at least one of that I know about. There is one in Templepatrick at the "Twelth Milestone" that it doesn't mention.

That's it Ally.

Gaslow is a system which allows you to fill your cylinders at an LPG pump.

This makes the price of gas much cheaper and means no more lifting bottles out of your van.

I have two 11kg bottles fitted which can carry up to 42 litres of gas..

Last me ages and only a few quid to fill any time I am near an LPG pump.

You're right, there are very few locations where you can fill your Gaslow tanks in the Republic. The North is much better supplied. There is a list of outlets for the full 32 counties here.

http://www.ilpga.ie/autogas-outlets.php

I have tended to fill up last thing before leaving France or The UK and I have only ever needed to fill a few times here. I have always been able to find it at an outlet on this list.

I only have one tank but it is my plan to get a second tank and fit a BBQ outlet. This would give us additional storage plus I could get rid of the conventional cylinder that for the most part just takes up space and weight and I cannot use it in for the 'van as it's not on the system. BTW LPG is only 75/80c per litre in France. I think it's well over a Euro per litre here.

Hi Dave.

We have two 11kg bottles and gas outlet fitted by leisure technical solutions who are supporters of this site.
I must say I love the convenience of it.

Simon at LTS does a real.neat job.

We fill up when we see an lpg sign.

Thanks for that Mark. I've made note of the details. I'll contact them before doing anything. BTW if you are looking for any further Itineo info I can fill you in - we did our deal in France in September 2009.

Even better if anyone has the list converted into a POI file for the SatNav and can post it here ;)

Sometimes these lists can be only about 80% accurate as few sites physically monitor the retailers by
regularily checking up by phone if they can still supply the LPG, and of course as already mentioned, new
ones sometimes are not included as the post isn't updated.
