Hi, All, How would I go about getting a cert of conformity for the EU for my left had drive 1979 mercedes benz 207d?

Contact the local dealer Mercedes truck and van at mallusk first if they can't help contact Mercedes uk. I can not understand the need to carry a cert when travelling in Europe because every vehicle sold throughout Europe has to conform to eu rules no matter if its left or right hand drive.

Hi, Thank you for the quick response. The camper is going to spain to live so when it needs an I.T.V. [M.O.T.] you need the cert. of conformity for the Spanish plates. If no cert is produced no I.T.V. will be issued the camper is then not legal and would end up as a chicken house!

Good luck with the ITV/registration at least you have overcome one hurdle, you have a LHD as anything which is RHD will not be able to get an ITV!!!
