We are in Gruissan on the south coast at the moment and getting the odd bit of overcast weather at the moment.
There are loads of people arriving from all over France and Spain saying we are getting the best weather. Not a lot of English or Irish here but from what I can gather we are quite lucky.

I have checked meteo.fr and it is set to improve tomorrow and stay sunny for the next week. Let's hope so.

My brother lives in the pyrenees not far from Lourdes and the roads around there are all closed due to the weather. A combination of heavy rain and a late big snow melt have washed many of the roads away. Lourdes is under about 7 foot of water. A video taken earlier today:

That look horrific weather in the middle of June anywhere. The people having to clean up there houses after the water washing up all that debris does not bear thinking about.

We were chatting to a German couple last night who have driven up from Gibraltar in their Motorhome. They said there was snow visible on the Serra Nevadas and up to half a meter of snow in Andorra.

We stayed two days in Leucate, The weather was ok very warm at times and sometimes overcast, we moved on to Marsellian yesterday with the weather much the same, however there were floods of water on the road on the way, we are lucky, we didn't see any rain.

Pat.
We are at Aire du 4 vents in Gruissan. Just paid for another 3 days at €8.50 per night. There are a couple of toilets and showers. Sun is out and forecast is showing getting better each day for the next week. It would be good to see you again if you are over this direction. I think Johneen is busting for a chat with anyone other than me. LOL

Stopped in an Aire in Parthaney last night for €8. Right beside a river with nice walks and cycle paths. Arrived at lunch time today on another Aire in Arzon in southern Brittany. Weather great here at the moment this one was €7 for 24 hours with a maximum stay of 72 hours. WiFi included.

Weather is nice and sunny for the last few days here in the south of France. We are now on a ACSI site in Argeles-sur-Mer called La Chapelle @ 16E/day including wifi, it is going up to 40E/day on Saturday.
