Ffs, I'm moving to the East coast, that is where all the money is, How many new or almost new vans have arrived there in the last 12 months? all jokes a side , Martin it is a cracker, I'm dead jealous, hope yourself and Susie get great enjoyment out of it.

They say a picture paints a thousand words.

you may notice that new sticker, it is the only one, of several,in the same class, who should have them on display. they are also noticeable by the fact they also have to carry the 80 100 110 on the rear.

Lovely motorhome Sprinter, well wear and happy touring.
I've stayed in that parking area in Cherbourg many times and enjoyed superb fresh fish and chips at Le Yalta across the river, they also do a gorgeous home made burger.

So, this evening I removed the refillable gas system. Replaced it with a standard 11kg cylinder, with a 6kg as the second one, as previously. Maybe I’m mad, but there are very few lpg stations down South. I’ll probably hang onto it for when we head to the continent. Maybe 🤔

Finally put the second 100 w solar panel up, messed around with it first, lying on the ground, 3A, tilted towards the sun angle 4.5 A at 11 am, a big difference

Very Good Dave, it will be interesting to compare the performance of 1, 300w to 3, 100w, looking forward to that day.
Got our one back this evening after a new timing belt and service, it’s a bit of relief as we have the van more than 6 years and never fitted one to it.

I polished, and polished and polished. Even got most of the roof polished before my arms finally gave out. May finish it during the week. 🥵

Auto glym, Martin. Only the roof is taking some elbow grease to bring back the sheen
Sides and cab were pretty decent. They just needed a bit of a lift. Dodging the sun was half the battle

Got a cvrt certificate for it today. A 2 year one....... be the hokey..... never got one of those before 😁😁
Almost there. Get it taxed now and that’s everything.
The whole importing thing, wasn’t a hugely difficult procedure..... just a tad time consuming, lucky I’m self employed, the boss not in my ear about taking time off. 😆

Swapped the gas struts and also another niggly little job.......the shower head holder,
The holder used to flop like a drunken monkey, no adjustment or tightening to be done, so took it apart and 6 or 7 winds of PTFE tape put it back together and job done,

Sog all fitted. A tight squeeze for the fan to fit. Had to squeeze it in under the spout. About 1mm spare. Happy out now that’s done. With this type of cassette the air pipe is installed into the lid of the spout. Handy as you don’t need to adapt the second cassette, you can just swap out the lids.

It’s the lack of chemicals, along with their smell that I want. Also when wild parking, it’s safe to empty in any public convenience, without worrying whether the system can deal with the formaldehyde
