Anyone in the Hook tonight is in for a rough one, I'm sitting in the garden for the last hour watching the most of the spectacular lightning storm approach, from the direction of west Waterford, could be 50 to100k wide, the thunder and first drops of rain have just arrived,

️ time for the slate roof over my head.

Thunder & lightening in Co Galway took half hour to pass, finished about 9pm,

Thundry showers were mild enough compared to what was forecast

I noticed on one of the Lighthouse webcams, last week, 5/6 new signs along the grass edge, facing Dunmore East, went down that way this evening for a walk, sure enough, Private Property, no, tents, caravans or motorhomes, no camping or overnight parkng. I presume on the grass. The off grass area in front has had some repair work done with a bit of 8o4.

What can the owner do about parking, even if they are the owner, it's been open land for years,no fences or walls etc? What would a property search show up ???

The land does have an owner the same guy who owned most of the land around the Lighthouse, and used to own Loftus ha in the past.
Resides in the good old USA, and I would suggest the signs are a nose thumb at the Council.
