Civitavecchia Port Parking

The title says it all. Myself and the wife will be touring Italy in the van in September. I've booked a cruise out of Civitavecchia Port for ten days at toward the end of the trip. I'll need somewhere to park the van for 9 nights while we are on the cruise. Has anyone done this before? Can I leave the van at the port for the 9 nights?

Any info is much appreciated.

Just to mention, I have googled it briefly before posting here. I'm aware that there is car parking facilities, just not sure about a camper and wondering if anyone else has done it with one.

Hi Max,

I'm travelling with Royal Caribbean. I used the link you gave and I've been able to book my parking space. Although I can only book as a car, I didn't see an option to reserve a space as a motorhome but the website does say they allow motorhomes so I don't think it will be a problem. Thanks for the link.
