hi, has anyone used this yet? Im thinking if its worth having first.
It is only 5euro for the card and 3.91 euro for delivery, you then top up to use for entry to aires and some municipal sites. Network growing it seems. Any first hand experience welcome. Thanks

I use it, the parks usually have a barrier entry and are kept very tidy. The prices are fairly good as well

I have the card for probably ten years.
It's very handy as it now gives access to municipal sites all year.
You always have a pitch in a secure area with ehu and in recent years you can reserve ahead.

Heres a bit of negativity. but it is 12 months old
https://www.motorhomingfrance….or-move-on.

bit of an update

This trend has not gone unnoticed by the French ‘Comité de Liaison du Camping-car’ - an association protecting the rights of motorhome owners. The association has recently come to an agreement with four other towns which have CCP aires & which also had a bye-law forbidding motorhome parking. After negotiations with the communes of Riantec (56), La Séguinière (49), Moulismes (86) & Saint-Antoine-de-Breuilh (24), the association has managed to get the bye-laws withdrawn hence allowing motorhomes to park without having to stay on the CCP aires.

CCP are obviously a business & are keen for motorhomes to stay on their aires, however in a country where motorhome parking is allowed in most locations it is worrying to see these laws being introduced – especially considering CCP have aires in over 200 locations throughout France.

The Comité de Liaison du Camping-car is a powerful force in the defence of motorhomers (Campingcarists). In the past they have successfully challenged municipalities who erected hight barriers and won their case in the courts. The judgments have included punitive damages in favour of the Comité de Liaison du Camping-car against the municipalities as well as directions that the barriers be removed.
They have also successfully challenged aspects of the Control Technique (NCT/CVRT) which are obviously aimed at commercially operated vehicles but were being applied to Camping-cars.

I've used them in several places in the couple of trips, other than the very first, time I went to a new one they were advertising, the EHU wasn't connected, so I phoned in a complaint, and they refunded the €12.5,and asked if I'd like to stay anyway, I've never booked but it is handy when you can see how many pitches are availability.

I have used them, they are very convenient. But I have also read today that they are getting free overnights stopped in towns where they have sites.
