Easter Sale now on for Sygic Truck/Camper App....

https://eshop.sygic.com/en/truck-navigation

I have a standard Garmin. Its OK, but you need to be on your alert to avoid it taking you down boreens at times.

Is the Sygic any better in that regard ?

Good find John @panda
Good discount if anyone is looking for a top RV satnav….. been using it for years and it’s excellent.
Auto updates/traffic etc, no faffing around going to sites looking for downloads, it does it automatically.

I'll look into it but with the very sad and sudden death of our app developer, Paul Malone, it may take me some time.

So could someone convince me this is a good buy. Does it play through your phone or is it stand alone.
I don’t have a laptop, do I need a laptop.
Are all the add ons worth it

It’s a good buy Brian.
Needs a “big” phone or a better option is a GPS enabled tablet.
It works really well, on a big screen it’s really clear.
Also, you have the tablet for other use too…. (eg) viewing MotorhomeCraic….. I mean, can it get better !
A GPS tablet can be picked up for around £100 -£150 … so maybe factoring that into the equation too.

Ok Jon. Thanks for your response. I have an iPad Air 2, is this tablet?
Then how do you mount said tablet?
And I’m a technophobe just to add to the melee. Can’t be doing with syncing and up dating. But go on convince me to buy one as I like a bargain!

Ok but I've just come off the Sygic site and there are a lot of one star reviews. Sending trucks down housing estates and boreens isn't very reassuring !
