A hot water pipe came off a manifold last night and flooded the double floor. Luckily I hadn't parked level and it ran into one section in the corner. It was 1inch deep got it bailed out then mopped up with towels

Anyone think of an alternative as I've had this happen a few times i was thinking of Y shaped joints connecting the bottom of the Y with a pipe and attaching the 4 pipes to the 4 bits left

Bottom pipe in picture seems to be under a bit of pressure, could you put a right angle bend in it and join to manifold with a short piece of pipe.

Look at changing ie to a 4 way brass 1/2 bsp heating manifold, with brass hose tails,

As Sprinter has said , get that manifold changed .
Everything there is plastic other than the hose clips, with warm water that is where the problem arises.

My cure, just hope the clear pipe doesn't collapse with the heat of the water coming through it

Might be a good idea to put two jubilee clips at both ends, that is what I had to do to stop the joints leaking, I also tightened them a little more when the pipe softened with the heat, Tommy.

Thanks Chausson, that's an idea although I have them so tight I can't turn the hoses on the pipes

what was happening on ours there was silt in the tank that blocked the filters in the taps and there was considerable pressure on the pipes, I took out the filters and problem solved

I don't know the full setup but I see the first picture as being one supply pipe feeding 3 outlets and all will have a reasonably balanced flow, the strain on the supply pipe not withstanding.

In the modified setup, you're essentially splitting the supply across two outlets and then splitting one of those outlets across two further outlets.

It may never be a problem, but if there were to be a problem, it would manifest when you're using multiple outlets at the same time. I'd strongly recommend that the first split should be to the shower and the second split be between the kitchen sink and WHB (assuming these are the 3 outlets).

Trouble is I don't know what they supply. I don't see it being a problem as I can't see us using multiple outlets at one time. I assume the water will take the least route of resistance and go to the necessary outlet, if that makes sense.

Like I said, if there were to be a problem, it's only be when multiple outlets may be used at the same time and the reason for teeing the shower off first would be to minimise the cold / not spike if the kitchen sink hot tap were turned on / off while someone is showering. Quick way to tell which one is which is to disconnect it, then work and leave it over a basin, open the taps in sequence, when you open the connected tap, the contents of the pipe will empty into the basin.

A nice simple fix if it works, I would make some adjustments, for to improve the flow, I would trace which is the feed line, then connect it to the bottom of one Y connector, then connect the shower on to one of the branches, and from the other branch, the bottom of the second Y connector, and the sink and hand basin from the branches , , I would use a red hot water hose. just to be on the safe side and because you don't know what the performance of the clear hose is, although I really don't think there is any difference between them all but the color,
I hope that makes sense.

8-) More Fec***g water. Was filling up at Camac Valley and when I went to put the hose back lo and behold I had an inch of water in the locker. Turned out the inspection hatch on the water tank had come off and it was pissing out of it. Anyone want to buy a motorhome, something is pushing me towards boats. Have it mopped up and everything in the garage. Going to leave a heater in it. Down for our wedding anniversary so off now to get rat arsed
