It seems today that the Motorhome parking at Tramore near the toilets is no more we have being replaced by bycycle stands and flower pots. Also no parking Motorhome signs erected all along the prom dont travel to Tramore spend your money elsewere . What do do people who travel to this country think of us ???

Was removed from the app quite a while ago. Guess where we won't be visiting.

Their loss will be someone else's gain, we will always be made welcome by those that know the benefits of our stopovers.

The last time I visited Tramore I was not impressed by its tacky arcades and takeaways, the beach was nice though.
I have to say, unlike the likes of Cobh, Portumna, Bantry, Dungarvan, etc., it's a place I'm not drawn back to.

Been a few times and never found anywhere to park and as already said not very impressed with the place. Drove through twice and stopped at Killmurran cove and when over with Polly after the Athlone meet we had a look but ended up at Newtown cove caravan park for a night .

Can't say being banned from tramore bothers me,I stopped there in may for an hour and that was enough for me but it would be nice to have a place in Dunmore East

A)
Would these people stop referring to our vehicles as caravans
B)
Why don't they speak to someone who knows about the services required before commenting on what is or isn't required.

It's nice to know that we contributed €16k to Dungarvan in parking fees this year.

Finally, as regards the fire issue, that seems to be a concern unique to Waterford. The spacing in Cobh replicates common practice throughout Europe but Waterford have a problem with it.

It strikes me that Fergus Galvin is just grasping at reasons to say no.

€1000 a night would work out at 100 vans at €10 per night or 66 at €15 per night but there's likely to be diminishing returns at €15 per night. Lets take somewhere in between at maybe 80 spaces along the coast and at the greenway carparks.

10 in Waterford City Centre, the quay would be amazing but maybe spread out
10 at the WIT Greenway Carpark (could be an argument for more here to encourage more use of the eastern half of the greenway)
10 In Dungarvan
10 in Tramore
10 in Dunmore East
10 in Kilmacthomas

5 at passage East Harbour
5 at Woodstown (maybe a bit tight but you could make room for a few)
5 at Bunmahon
5 at Stradbally
5 at Ring
5 at Ardmore

We're at 90 already.... What about the Blackwater Valley

5 at Lismore
5 at Cappoquin

We're now at 100 and we haven't gone into the Comeraghs yet

All that's lacking is a little bit of vision

Mr Gavin seems to thinks at a mere 16k is not worth the effort, I suppose he is right, sure it would hardly cover a junket to examine the feasibility of traffic lights by discussing it on the 4th fairway in Bundoran,
I think 16K is a brilliant considering they have connived to run us out of Dunmore East and Tramore I'm surprised anyone stops in Waterford at all.
