Hello everyone
I have an issue with my Fiat Ducato 93 d 2.5
Long story short I let my cousin try to repair a job who ended up making a dog's dinner, >_<
Previously there was a slow leak on the housing nothing major you could not see it drop when started with the pressure,
I'm not exactly sure what my cousin done we're not on good terms
when the vehicle is running it is doing a lot of dripping instead of slow drops :( there has to be some sort of leak on the housing I'm not sure if the housing is a part of the engine ,I ve some photos below, I do know my cousin used some sort of putty! obviously this will never work with oil as it would be impossible to seal.
Looking to remove this putty I'll probably know better when it gone.
I had mechanic earlier today looking at the situation I was told that it was best I do bring her home and remove the putty there as there's no guarantee he could fix it and a camper would be stuck on site.
Il probably do that tomorrow remove it to see what's under there tbh the pipe that's there looks like a brake pipe cause I don't remember something hanging so low from under engine.. what do you guys think will I have to buy brand new housing part from Fiat Ducato which could fetch a few €€, I really like this camper the summer weather was great ,she may be hibernating until next year . :-)

I'm no expert but I think it's your steering power assist,if the leaks not too bad you could keep topping it up to get home

Get a drop of petrol, Kerosene or degreaser and paint it on with a paint brush and hose it off with water to determine where exactly the oil is dripping from.
