Wish I was there Norman although last update on the forum (Old new one) from member in Brittany said it was raining there as well.

Here at the moment. Very very hot in the South. Same all over I think. Everywhere very busy. All French, few Belgium. have
not seen a NI or Southern van in 6 weeks. Everybody seems to be going about their business as usual. We are keeping
to ourselves and actually trying to avoid people but have not experienced any difficulties what so ever. Fingers crossed.
For anybody thinking of coming we have had no hassle both in leaving Ireland or arriving in France. We used Irish Ferries
and were the only van on the boat but everything well organised to keep people safe.

That's the thing, how are the police to know what weight your van is

That exactly the problen you don't know unless you take a close look at the van's.when parked up. I would think the longer A Class are mostly over the 3.500. presumably the ones with the speed limit stickers should have the danger signs.
If you look at the two photo's in the Aire in Cherbourg only one had the warning signs, and if you compare the parking spaces the van next to me, is considerably longer and filling the whole space.
ouf of 16 vans 4 with the speed limit markings, only one with the danger signs.

If you are over the 3.500kg you are supposed to have the 3 speed limit stickers on the rear.

Get a CVRT like I did. If you need to show your not more than 3,500kg show 'em the CVRT cert/disc, if you need to show you over 3,500kg show 'em the plate or the Registration Certificate 😂🤣

My van is 4000kg but I've seen the exact same van plated at 3500 so I can't see how anyone would know the difference without a full inspection , I don't think I'll place the stickers but that's my decision

They are ugly looking for sure but if they save lives they are worth it, after a short time we will take no notice of them.
I don’t know how effective they will be though, you would hope whoever came up with them have researched their effectiveness.

They should be on HGV and Bus for sure as they are needed but a motorhome is a bit daft,
The stats will speak for them selves

Suppose we gotta put them on when going abroad,

Does a caravan and towing car need them does anybody know? (Im just curious is all)

As they're supposed to go on the blind spots, anyone reading them will be knocked down 😂

Except for the back,a MH doesn't have blind spots, just another stupid rule

2 friends one with a tag axle Burstner and the other with a 4250kg 2 axle are back from France last weekend and no signs on and were not stopped,
I suppose its like every thing else its only when some thing happens they will ask where the signs are
