That was some wet day here in Wexford.
If your Motorhome doesn’t have any leaks or damp spots after that, I’d say you can safely say..... it’s a dry van.
On a serious note, everyone would be advised to have a good check of their vans after a day/ week like that. A serious amount of rain.

We had a right good old day up here David...... but a bit blustery with the odd shower but not bad at all.
Suppose it hits different areas differently.

Michael martin’s nation address did nothing to improve the dark cloud though ☹

Absolutely appalling weather in Carlow. Non stop rain for the last 24hrs and very strong winds.
Hopefully brighter drier days ahead.

It most certainly didn’t. Very light on details How is it working back and forth across the border at the moment. Is there much of an issue for you crossing.

Very wet here in the independent republic of Cork 😂

Definitely good advice to check the van after! Not a bad idea to vent it a little bit either

It’s weather like that that made me get a shelter made for mine. Hated seeing the rain and greeness on it and as an older van I was always afraid of leaks and the damage that frost after rain could do. Means I can leave the roof vents open and the sun can get at the open fridge etc. Always smells fresh as a daisy in there as it is dry and well ventilated and most parts of it gets some daylight at some point in the day.

As always, pure non-stop sunshine in a gloriously warm Skibbereen all day yesterday. The only sound was the gentle rustle of palm trees swaying in the balmy breeze. 😎🌞🌴

Is it true that when it’s harvested it’s curly and then the steam it to get it straight for packaging?

I'm not an expert and I don't know.
I think they are machine made and then hung out to dry.
What is certain is that real spaghetti (like all pasta) must be made (hoping this is the translation) with hard wheat.
Otherwise it's something only Yankees and some Englanders can eat.

Less northern cars crossing the border, massively decreased. Fines are being given out.
I still cross the border when needed, a few times a week but we have business registered in the northern side and we use the work van that is sign written.
Only cross David when we need, but the traffic volume is noticeably down.

Norman, Afaik the deal is done. Just awaiting the terms and conditions 😜😜
Getting it home, a different matter. Maybe someone with one foot on either side, might be able to get it in and/or registered for me for a fee. 😉 Be easier to move further south on southern plates.
