Personally I’m pleased we did not go this winter. For me I like to travel, normally every 2 or 3 days and that is currently prohibited as you are restricted to a province or smaller area. Then there are the curfews. Plus the covid cases are high in Spain too.
But 27 October is booked and I hope to go then.

Likewise fellas.
But correct call not to go. So many things this year stacked up against our trip.

Covid.
Wife’s parents ongoing health problems.
Uncertainty about going.
And a bit of a health scare on my part too, thankfully resolved.

So it was the year it wasn’t meant to happen, and that’s OK.

But, fingers crossed come later this year we will once again enjoy the winter sun.
Really missing it and I do not like being here in this weather and the dark miserable nights.

Are they going to be vaccinating against the cold also, that will do wonders for the tourist industry. :-/

Believe this is ‘fake news’ propagated on social media sites.
Surely that decision will be made on strong scientific and medical evaluation when the time is right, if this news is official government policy then we’re beat before we start.

Considering February 29th will be in another 37 months, it may actually be quite accurate
