Motorhome gas test

Hello I'm new to this I live in laytown co meath iv got a fiat campervan she is 1992 model my problem is when I turn on gas from the bottle after a little while I can smell gas iv tightened all the fitting I can get too but still a slight smell of gas does anyone know where I can go to get it tested in the northeast region of Ireland around drogheda dundalk nth dublin area hope yis can help

If you find anyone in the region i will be looking to hear who they are. I live in north county dublin and have to travel to maynooth for the nearest motorhome service guy. Although i think i will be looking for someone else.

Maynooth motorhomes or I think there's a motorhome rental company near the airport ( Bunk campers possibly ) they might do service I don't know really though, also Leisure tech solutions in NI

Soapy water or leak spray on the joints will show any leaks, any refrigeration or air con engineer could test system for you.

Guys, it’s a bit of a long trip, but I can highly recommend Leisure Technical Services in Lisburn. They have done a fair bit of work on my van in the past 2 years, and the quality of workmanship is good. I trust them. They also did the hab service for me this year and last, which included the gas. Managed to squeeze it in this year right before lockdown

Well the OP mentioned Drogheda, Dundalk so on his doorstep so to speak

Thanks guys I ll try the workshop in lisburn when I'm allowed to travel I could possibly do the soap test but knowing my luck I ll break something lol

You could try Newry Caravans. They always did my tests when I had a caravan. Very reliable.
