Cruise Control

My 2015 Europa (Renault Master) was a ex-mobility which I purchased direct from Wildax (took in part chop for a new one)
It is a Automatic gearbox with some form of standard cruise control and speed limiter which works well and having a inoperable back condition is great.
My car is now a Lexus NX and is factory fitted with adaptive cruise control and sometimes for say the first half hour I tend to forget that the Renault will not slow down on its own.
So to the enquiry
Has anybody had or know of a system that can change cruise control to adaptive cruise control before Maureen kills me for getting too close to the lorry in front doing 65mph.

I am fairly sure that the garage in the village will be able to fit if I cant.

Drive at 55 mph and you won't catch up on the truck so fast David, cheaper too 😁

Think that that does look good.
Not sure ready yet for "self drive" in fact at my age doubt I ever will.
Also dont really think that Billy Blue has the technology something a little more simple please.

The more the "toys" are put on cars etc the more lazy and inattentive the driver becomes which in my opinion will lead to more accidents mainly as the technology isn't perfect. My car has all latest things that Audi can throw into it but it has tried to brake on a couple of occasions sensing an accident when all I was doing was going round a bend when another car came the opposite direction. Pay attention to the vehicle and those around you and save money

I usually have my cruise control set at 90km/h so I only catch up with HGV's very slowly if at all. Having the aerodynamics of a garden shed, at that speed, it's more economical than going at 100km/h or 110km/h.
If boredom starts to kick in I'll often go to 100km/h but very rarely faster.

The solution is probably out there but it could be an insurance minefield for anybody to fit it for you. Electronically, you just need to pulse the cancel signal to the cruise control module once whatever sensor you use identifies an obstacle.
