Very simple and relatively inexpensive to repair pump on those. Any diesel specialist could check it and easily repair it.
2 different pumps, a Lucas CAV or a Bosch....
The fuel solenoid on the rear of the pump has been known to fail.

You actually shouldn’t need a ‘new or second hand’ one..... unless yours is structurally broken. These are old school diesel pumps, all repairable by the diesel specialists and when repaired will be in all respects ‘new’.
Second hand ones, if required, would be available, the Lucas CAV type being the more common.

As JJF has stated why even consider buying second hand? That could well be you buying someone else's problem.
Get it reconditioned and it will be as good as new.
