Proposed Southern Meet.

Proposed Southern Meet, we have planned a Southern Meet up, on 3rd weekend of January 2013, this is a provisional date to see what interest we have in the meet. The date may change!

We want to have a Southern Meet as most of the Craic meets have been in the North and we can show them Nordy's how its done - seriously though... be great to meet other Southern members and hopefully we can have an ongoing thing like the meets in the North.

If you are interested in going then please add your name to the list. The first venue will be Treegrove campsite in KIllkenny.

Well spotted taylor,

We seem to have a number of members going to both events, looks like Kilkenny is a non runner that weekend, Maybe we should leave it for a few weeks later or is a meet in Clare an option that weekend as it is hard to expect people to travel long distances twice in a short period of time.

What do ye think ???

Never enough weekends in the year :-)

I will leave it to you lot to decide, but I would go to the Southern meet up instead, I am booked into a few music festivals already next year and Kilkenny is closer:)

Yes Ally, I was thinking that later, we can't please everyone and sure if we loose a few we will meet up again at a later time. So Kilkenny on the third weekend of January is still on and whoever can't make it might let us know and we will see how it goes.

Hi all
I would like to go to both, maybe if the southern weekend was moved to 1st weekend in February it might suit those that want to attend both. Or just have the Clare meet as the southern rally

Hi Ken,

I was thinking like yourself at first, but after getting pm's from other members who cannot go on other weekends I think it is better to stick to the orignal date and venue, That way everybody will get away for the weekend, We can allwise organise another meet in Feb.

i assume the third weekend is fri 18 th and sat 19 th of jan and clare would be too far for NI vans

I was having a bit of difficulty securing a day or two off around the weekend of the Music Festival in Clare so probably wouldn't have , I am fine for the week after in Kilkenny :D

Hi lads, sorry I was getting completely mixed up about the dates, I thought it was two seperate weekends (one after the other) I wasn't trying to get anyone to change dates.
