Insurance shock

Got a bit of a shock today when I realised the Insurance is out in our Motorhome for the last week, I got no reminder from Dolmen this time, possibly because we terminated our eircom.net email address when they started charging for it. How do they normally notify people when their insurance is up? I forget how they did it in the past. Must contact them tomorrow,

They use the email you provided ,got caught out myself Pat, the tax was out on the van and no reminder because of eircom

Whatever about Tax, Insurance is a far more serious issue, I could have been driving around without it not knowing. Keep an eye out Guys if you changed email address's and didn't notify your Insurance companies of the new address

When I switched my email server from Eircom to Gmail, I took a long while to write a detailed list of all the contacts I'd need to update. I thought I had every single one sorted.
Doh! Except the motor tax office! Thanks MH Craic for the unintended reminder.....

Did the same , so far the van tax is the only one I missed but !!!!!!!!

You'll now need to go through their archaic process as you did when you first applied to insure with Dolmen.

Think it's a reason a lot who live in NI go with someone else, it's a ball ache of forms.

Got my renewal notice by email from Dolmen last week.319 euro..... Car due too and almost double at 626...... no accidents, penalty points or claims but yet they keep hiking it up 🤬

its the first figure I would be more concerned about its probably around €2,000.00 this is the one they take out of the hat when they start.If they find you are in breach of the policy that's the one they and all the other's will be looking for you to pay.
Still the Government expect us to believe there is competition

Tried phoning them this morning and greeted with this phoneline isn't manned at the moment and email instead, I sent an email and got a reply that there was a backlog of 48 hours before I would get a reply.
I am going to give them the benefit of the doubt until I get a reply.

Dolmen phoned me first thing this morning and took a card payment with no drama and said I should have the cert in five days' so all is well that ends well
