Let us hope that the scum that defaced this memorial are caught and prosecuted.
It is a very moving experience to visit this site a see the carnage that took place there.

its the middle picture the Martyr has been painted out and then graffiti painted at the side of it.The French news channel F24 Eng HD covers it better than our BBC.

Absolutely scandalous.
This place stands as a testament of mans inhumanity to man. One of the most moving places I’ve visited and will again.

The people who defaced this place have no place in civilised society and hopefully when caught they will be punished appropriately.
Disgusting act.

A very moving experience which I’ll never forget. And I visited in 2000 whilst working nearby
