TV options

Advice/suggestions please. I have a Cello Traveller TV with built-in Freeview, connected to a satellite dish on the roof. It's easy enough to press the button to raise the dish and then rotate to find the right angle etc (earpiece sat finder).
This gets us BBC, ITV and All-four, plus a pile of channels of no interest (to us)
I can't get any Irish TV channels or radio stations, and recently sky news and CBS Reality have disappeared (she likes 'wives with knives'....(I sleep with one eye open) Yes, I've tried a full factory reset btw.
I'm wondering what options I have, if any, for a different system? I see more and more small square aerials and dishes lately. I'm no tekkie, but is there a budget-friendly alternative out there, or even a box I can add to what I have?

Irish TV channels are encoded on satellite and can only received using a sky box and a sky card issued to an Irish address.
For Saorview terrestrial (aerial) reception, you need an a TV with a Saorview compatible tuner.

You can't get ROI TV on a sat dish ( unless using a sky box ) ,if you change your lnb frequency s you may get more stations

The remote has three buttons along the top Freeview/Radio/UK SAT.
The Freeview has Saorview printed just above it. The UK SAT is the only button that shows channels btw.

If the remote has a Freeview/Saorview button, does that means it's compatible?

It's a bit technical but , Google lnb frequency for Freeview/ Freesat , whichever you're going to use ,then go to your TV tuner and look for those frequency s under lnb settings and set them up ,then tune in the TV , this got me alot more stations , hope it works for you , my explanation is probably crap , easier to show than explain

Saorview needs a terrestrial aerial ( status 360 etc ) not a sat dish
Don't you just love modern technology 😠

Which begs the question, is there a terrestrial aerial made for a camper?

Yes, a big choice between about €40 and €80 depending on gain and quality.
