The first Service Area for Motorhomes (ASA) in the national territory, located in Ponte de Sor, Alentejo, has been opened by the Secretary of State for Tourism, Rita Marques, marking the beginning of an Action Programme aimed at creating conditions to promote sustainable motor caravanning.

I suppose to get one opened is an achievement In Portugal.
I would not be holding my breath for it to continue nationally miracles are scarce on the ground
