My eyes are still open 😂

I love it, did you buy the one Roscommon on Donedeal? Well wear, lovely machine. I find the build quality is excellent on these, a very under rated build. There are a couple of things to look out for however, they are vulnerable to leaking at the joint where the roof meets the front panel and wall over the cab. The area inside is hidden behind the cloth skirt around the overhead bed so can be hard to detect early. Apart from that ive had very few issues specific to the van.

You'll get a lot of useful info on the facebook group " euramobil owners uk" feel free to PM me if you want to discuss anything or compare anything in mine

resealing the lot - did you take everything off that was take-offable, and reseal it (apologies if this is a newbie question!)

OP, lovely looking motorhome - any pics of the inside?

There was nothing really to take off, When you get up on the roof you can see clear as day where all the factory joints & seals are. As is life these just deteriorate over time (mine is a 2005). We cleaned the areas, removed as much of any old and dead sealant as necessary and then used fresh sealant all over. I also sent over where the solar panels were fitted and around any roof windows etc... Touch wood no leaks to report three years later. Next job on the list is to remove the old obsolete boat anchor of a satellite dish, Should be fun sealing that up 😬

Thats the spot I found in the three that I looked at in last year or two, (thats when the seller shrugs the shoulders in dis belief)

Also another spot I found was where rear mudflaps screw to the body out at edge seems to get a lot or water from the road and get a bit spongy,
That didnt put me off,

Exact spot I was referring too alright Mad Max, Such an easy and simple fix and just an oversight by people not to do. I think the factory sealant deteriorates over time and then hitting pot holes and bumps etc doesn't help. I think we had mine sorted in under a few hours. Never had any problems at the mudflaps myself, But in saying that I keep the front raised all year round when not in use for water to drain off

That's just a matter of unbolting it from the roof and tidying up the wiring and sealing the roof grommet

Exactly my friend! I just completed an overhaul on my interior this year, We just wanted something that suited us more as a family, So new floors, walls, painted units etc, It was a Labour of love but one well worth it, And happy to report no hidden surprises found in the process

its not legal to carry a passenger in a side mounted seat. they have to be facing back or forward.

I thought that was recently debated and it was found that it is in fact legal, In Motorhomes, but not recommended, and that it isn’t recommended to put seatbelts on side facing seats 🤔🤔

without knowing the layout of there is no answer, you are going to have to do more homework and contact professional who can advise if some rearrangement can be done.
It sounds like you are looking to buy something that dose not fit your family which is the first requirement. The wrong van is the easiest thing to buy.

Taken from GOV.UK. I would assume it’s similar in the South.
