Brittany Ferries sailing to Spain in July

Hi all,
I'm new, so forgive me if I'm stepping over the line here. I'm a liveaboard sailor whose looking for a little help from a fellow vagabond.
We're moored in Spain at the moment, but luckily (?) we were visiting family here at home in Ireland when the whole Covid crisis kicked off. My partner and I are flying back to check on things in Spain on July 1st, before bringing the kids back a week or so later.

So, while here, (Ireland) I bought 20 x 8 foot lengths of 4inch tongued and grooved for a project on the boat, and am wondering if there was anyone heading out on the Rosslare/Bilbao route on July 1st that might be willing to bring the wood out with them? We could meet you in Bilbao, so it wouldn't be in the way for very long.

Cheers,
Leonard...

Cheers Denbo,
We'd be a bit to far from you for the moment, but it's very kind of you to offer. We spent about 18 months cruising the North coast of France, it was a real struggle to leave. We often shared bar-b-ques and beers with camper-folk on route. Enjoy the trip, let's hope it all goes smoothly .

Cheers Ally, we have people coming out to visit in mid September, and so they'll bring it out as a last resort. It would surprise me if our paths don't cross...

Suppose they have to make a few bob somehow, since the melons and oranges trade was interrupted last week 😁

Have any Motorhomecraicers taken this ferry since services resumed the end of last month?
Due to sail on 24th July and just wondering how busy it is and are there big restrictions on meal times etc. Plan on staying out of the public areas as much as possible and I know mask wearing is compulsory in all public areas outside of your cabin, hoping this is happening in practice? Thanks.

I looked at using this service for my essential journey to Spain but the prices were horrendous, back to landbridge at almost 1/3 of the price.

It wont be hard to stay out of the public areas as the ship isn't that big

Sailed the Cork to Santander route last year on the Connemara so I’m familiar with the size and layout of the ship, I understand the Kerry is similar.

We booked our return ferry again as soon as the the schedule was released last Autumn. Works out good value for the 5 of us during peak summer holiday time and saves a lot of driving through France plus associated expenses.

My question was purely around safety measures and social distancing on board the Kerry since sailings on the Bilbao crossing resumed last week.
