going by the behaviour of the public whenever there has been an announcement that something will happen on a certain date they will probably start heading there this week "seeing as its going to open anyway"

The press while trying to help are only giving people cause to try and break lockdown, leave it until nearer the time then tell everyone!!

Looking good for the brewery meet is all i was thinking about :)

What’s the official word on mass gatherings by Aug bank holidays? As in, gatherings of how many?

Grand. If it was 50 some craicers would be disappointed for the brewery meet.

This is first hand experience by me on the 01/06/2020, not from the internet.

For you conspiracy theorists and those of you that think there is something behind all of this covid-19 stuff. Yesterday I had a meeting through business with a highly qualified Nurse who was one of the first to do the research on Covid-19. She told me what it does, how they can't stop it, how they don't know why it does the things it does.
She then went on to describe what happens to patients, how it transfers from one to another, how serious this is. She has told her own Mother that when the GVT stops lockdown, not to leave the house for another six months.
This stuff is real, this is happening right now, this is very serious and the population is not taking it serious enough.
Men in their forties and fifties are at most risk, you have little chance of surviving if you get it bad, they don't know why.

We are no where near out of the woods yet, 12 months at least.

I would agree wholeheartedly with that as other health professionals I have spoken to are saying it’s like learning a new language in that you won’t get it right every time you use it. The ventilators are now not the way forward but forced air via mask is but this could change in a few weeks

What she described to me was harrowing, she explained about a 52 year old man in ICU here, moved to England for weeks in ICU, then back here again for more ICU.

She explained that 30-40% are dieing from blood clots and they have no idea why it's causing that. The amount of things people are dieing off that are caused by Covid-19 and they don't know how to fight it.

She also said the GVT's advice was rubbish and it was all about the money (we knew that)

I think people need to know this stuff.

It's only a matter of time before it gets as bad as April again , the simple thing like washing your hands ( no gloves, they make you feel safe but their not ) and keep you're hands away from your face , mouth, nose eyes are where it gets in

Stay safe everyone

Scary stuff alright. But let’s not forget that the vast, vast majority of people recover from this. And there is more evidence coming out indicating that the vast majority of infected people don’t even know they had it. I still wouldn’t want to get it though.

Stay safe

Indeed. She confirmed that she would be pretty certain Julie had it and that I had it, Julie obviously got it a lot worse than me. All I had was dizzy spells and feeling mighty strange (nothing new there), she said I was very luck due to my age and that I must be healthy which made me feel good :)

The problem being of course, any one of us could have it with no symptoms, we then give it to people who will have symptoms and perhaps die as we feel ok.

our Daughter is a Dentist and has been doing emergency work 2/3 days a week, she feels she can't leave people in pain with serious dental issues and is resigned to the fact that at some time she will get it. She delivers meds down to us once a month and has said if she gets this virus, we won't see her or her girls untill next year.
That's one bit of news we dont want to hear.
