Disclaimer: I am sure not all Audi drivers are complete knobs.

Audi's have certainly grown in fashion, or are now available to the masses more perhaps, not sure. But 80% of the cars that speed on our road outside the house are Audi's. They seem to be attracting a certain type of person. Why does a car for a normal driver need to do 200MPH? penis extension?

You have the 1200?
I have the K7 ZZR1000, bought it brand new in 1994, 7300 mile on it now. Orange and purple, exactly the same as this one, completely genuine inc exhausts.

I hankered after a blackbird for a while but it doesnt ride like the ZZR, harsher (shifts sharper).
Saying that the only run mine got out for 2 years was to the MOT and a very odd sunday run, used to take it to the TT every year.

....I used to have a 1977 BMW R75/7....Not a race bike but a tourer...Wanted to re-live my youth and get another but SHE wasn't having any of it

I'm not adverse to speed, quite the opposite but dont do it on the public highway....Totally irresponsiple imv. I have an 80's classic sitting in my garage that I bought from Promax Motorsport in UK back in 2004... puts out 422bhp and is capable of 180mph +...I've never done those speeds but previous owner who competed in Porsche racing circles in UK did. I have driven in anger alright in Mondello on the track. Ever since getting into Motorhoming its taken a back seat...I need to show her more love I think

Always dreamed of a NSR400, three cylinder two stroke. Never got one and now can't buy one. I know a guy with a real minter, but he won't give me a go never mind part with it.

A possible 100mph in third gear on the back wheel

I’m negotiating for a 40 foot container of pre 80’s motorbikes at the moment. Have had a quick squint through them. Approximately 19 bikes. One or two jump out,, another 4-6 could be good, a few more interesting, and a few just, old bikes. We’ll see.

Good price Dave....Look out for rear crankshaft seal leaking as its expensive to replace ( labour intensive ) and the usual smokey and rattly ones....apart from that they are a pretty solid reliable sportscar. Galvanised body so rust shouldn't be an issue...if you see rust....WALK.

ps....Not that svelte yet

Never been much of a bike bloke always preferred small cars with uprated engines, e.g Mini Cooper, Escort sport only bike was a mean Suzuki 50cc SPORT

It was designed that you could put a 125 engine in it once you came 17. I loved it. I used to ride around with older guys on bigger bikes. When going to places like portrush I left 30 minutes before them
