I ventured out in the motorhome today. Drove off the driveway, power -washed the concrete, reversed back and parked up.
Then a (depressing) thought hit me whilst putting my shiny new CVRT disc onto the windscreen. What if things get worse and we can't travel at all this season.....would the next journey be to the test centre next March for the 2021 test? On the plus side, surely a pass would be on the cards!

No guarantee it will pass again, I tested my sons Audi and it passed while he was in Australia, drove it home and the next time it was driven by him when he returned back into the test centre and this time it failed after only doing about 60km between tests.

My car failed on front flexible brake hoses, which the mechanic said were not bad at all.
While bleeding the system after fitting the new hoses a rotten piece of brake pipe to the rear, which hadn't been picked up by the tester, burst :o . That was just two days and about 40 miles after the test o.O

I must ask him again David, think it was some rear suspension linkage arm, I do know it was something you wouldn't expect to degrade with age. I suppose Doctors differ and patients die

What exactly did you do today? How are you keeping busy.?
Today I made bird boxes, one Bluetit, one Great tit, a Sparrow terrace and started a double Swift box. Too much ladder work yesterday, finishing the gable, ankle sore today.

Anything can happen, I'm one of those that likes that in a few months we will start to get back to the old normal...

Plenty of countries working hard to get a vaccine/pill to get it under control, a lot of testing being done right now.

Also, we do see coutries coming out of it. So there's definitely light at the end of the tunnel.

Certainly don't think we'll go into 2021 in the same situation.

But again, just my personal believe here don't have anything substantial to support my theory

Positive thinking Rami,it is just us that have never knew anything other than work for a living that are trying to stay sane.
As long as we are living we will get what does us.👍

What a great forum this is. Where else could you start with my CVRT disc and end up with a lighthouse photo from a rescue helicopter! And some much-needed upbeat thinking to finish the day.....many thanks.

Perhaps we can coin a new word for that, we could describe it as being 'trumpite' :P

Plus the 2k you walked to reach the perimeter and the 2k back:
2 + 12.56 + 2 = 16.56 km 😁.

It's no wonder I'm knackered, here was I thinking that it was all the ladder climbing. I'll be fit enough to go back on the Camino when this is all over.😥😓
