Looks a good piece of kit. I have a looped wire and padlock between the arm rests on the doors

49.90 euro Robert.... Open link and gives all info and prices. Expensive enough but very tidy fitting.

For our trip to France last year I did something similar although a lot less install work. I bought a length of 10mm steel wire rope with eyelets on either end. I thread it through the door handles and through the steering wheel and then put a big padlock on it. Its clearly visible through the front windows and the logic (hopefully) is that even if they get in they are going to have a bit of work to drive it :-) .

The downside of 'invisible' security is the scumbag has done the damage breaking in before the protection kicks in.

I thought about doing something similar. Obviously I would need to gain entry using the sliding van door which would then be the vulnerable point. But I suppose the visual deterrent of a padlock and cable on the cab doors might be enough.

the Chausson has the benefit of being able to lock the hab door from outside so that it cant be opened from inside. Obviously the windows are a major weak point but my thinking was they would have to come back out the same way they went in :-)
