In a Utopian world we would all drive " correctly " and only use middle and outside lanes for overtaking, Reality is motorways , especially the M50 is a jammed 3 lane carpark for a lot of the time....Normal driving rules dont apply.....My experience anyway
Or inject raw diesel into exhaust. I would prefer a rear facing screen washer that would spray a fine mist of oil. That would muck them up when they put on the windscreen washers. I just get slower and slower until they back off

Why are you hanging over a Motorway flyover bridge spray painting graffiti you moron
Because like thousands of others, he/she is at the end of his/her tether with idiots that have no respect for anyone else and drive oblivious of other road users.
Can you imagine driving down the motorway at 70 mph and see a moron hanging upside down from a bridge that would cause an accident more than driving in the middle lane

That would happen once, the middle lane morons are a constant pain.
Probably painted at 3am. The point of the article is not the painting of a bridge but the absolute idiocy of thinking it's ok to drive in an overtaking lane.
Whilst you have took umbridge at the painter/decorator that's not the big picture
We need proper instruction as to how to drive on motorways proper signage and speed limit signs, they have built motorways all over the country, without follow up instructions as to how they should be used. and when you have no policing of them, people will drive where and how they like, have you ever seen anybody pulled in for driving in the incorrect lane or breaking the speed limit. There is no policing, Last week Thursday on the M11 Just before J 17. I came up to a Jeep pulling a horsebox with two onboard overtaking a well-known truck( well known because I have never seen it driving anything close to the speed limit ) eventually the jeep got in front of the truck after Barndarrig 9km later, neither dropped below 110kph when the traffic cleared and low and behold the tenth or so car back, the traffic car sailed past and continued on.
We need the CHIP style traffic core.

As Pat Shortt would say dats right Tommy. I have a small story to tell about your 5 lanes Tommy. About 10 years ago myself and two other lads. One from Limerick and one from Slovakia we’re going up to work in Bangor just before Christmas, I was driving the van and the limerick guy who was in Bangor before said to move into the second lane because the one I was on was going down a ramp to the side, well I looked in the mirror and there was a taxi to my right so I floored the van to get in front of him, I don’t think he was impressed even though I was well in front of him when I moved over, anyway he ended up inside us further up the road and he gave Miro the Slovak the two fingers then Miro asked us what that meant and we both said to him at the same time Happy Christmas and took no more notice of it until the Company Christmas Party when Miro was going around to everyone giving them the two fingerswe had to tell him the truth then and he put up one finger and said this is f**k off in my Country what we said could have been very serious, we could have got him beating up if he met the wrong person and he wouldn’t know why. Thank God all ended well and we had a good old laugh afterwards

Not being funny Martin but they ask them questions at the driving test,
Agree with your observation on lack of policing on motorways.
The truck doing 110km was prob 90kmp calibrated but our car/van speedo is not calibrated and can be out +/- 10% but usually over by the 10%,
