Hi all looking at a van with a 2.2 2017 ford running gear I’ve heard not so good reports on these engines can anyone give me a rundown or bad experience cheers

I work for translink in the garage our buses are mainly Volvo the subcontractors, all have transit vans 2.2 engines!!!
About 4 vans have, had their engines replaced all blew up young vans oil pump and cam problems

From what I hear, I would've have a 2.2 Ford near me. But no actual experience of my own.
Told by a mechanic they have terrible oil problems that affect other things.

I might be raving here but something tells me that is the same 2.2 engine that is fitted to the Peugeot Motorhomes, anyone know if this is true? I have a feeling I heard that someplace.
