Windsor Park will be the venue for the UEFA 2021 Super Cup final, it has been revealed.
The venue will play host to the annual game between the winners of the UEFA Champions League and the UEFA Europa League in August 2021.
The 2019 Super Cup final took place at Vodafone Park in Instanbul, Turkey and saw Liverpool lift the trophy after defeating Chelsea on penalties following a 2-2 draw.
The most successful teams in the history of the competition are Barcelona and AC Milan with five victories apiece.
Windsor Park is currently the home of the Northern Ireland national team and Irish League Champions Linfield.
It boasts a capacity of 18,614 for football matches following a 2016 refurbishment.
The IFA secured the game for the venue after beating interest from Belarus, Finland and Ukraine.
IFA Chief Executive Patrick Nelson said the awarding of the game to Windsor Park was "fantastic news for everyone at the association, the city of Belfast and Northern Ireland as a whole".
“This confirms that, like us, UEFA believes the National Football Stadium is a compact world class venue capable of hosting high profile international and club matches. It is a huge feather in our cap," he said.
“I would like to congratulate everyone who contributed to the bid, and in particular bid leader Craig Stanfield, for putting together a compelling proposition for UEFA.”
