Bring back the gas fire

#bringbackthegasfire

For a moment there I thought I had found a solution to all our power hungry fan heating! A small slim gas fire with no flue that can be used indoors, but it's american and requires a two stage regulator? whats one of those?

Gas wizards, have a look here.

It just drops the pressure in two stages instead of one. Used a lot for long runs of pipe work, also if an appliance is sensitive to pressure deviation, or uses a lot of gas, as well. Not 100% sure of second one tbh. But I think so. It’s nothing major anyway, just a question of getting your hands on one. I’d be nervous of that fire in my camper though

I knew someone would mention that and with good cause. But my question, how did the super ser work for all those years ?

Also quite a few motorhomers are now running portable gas camping stoves in their Motorhomes and no carbon dioxide alarms have went off yet.

The American one has a low oxygen cut off.

Great if you could trust it, no blow air to flatten batteries, maybe we could get some politicians to test it 😂

The spec's look pretty good. 30,000 BTU is a massive amount of heat. I wonder how that "oxygen depletion system" works?

We have an old Thermx catalytic heater mounted on the wall in ours, 6000 BTU and it cranks out a lot of heat on full. Same principle as a superser except the heater is wall mounted and the gas is piped from a small bottle in a nearby locker.

Thought I had found one, but even though it said it was flueless, it comes with a balanced flue. Deleted it from here.

We had a flueless gas stove in our last house. It just looked like a normal wood burning stove but had a catalytic converters or something that scrubbed the gasses. It was more fuel efficient because there was no heat going out a flue. Good job but a bit big for a MH
