I posted this the other night but it seems to have disappeared?
1) Planned leisurely three week trip from Cherbourg to Bruges (and back!) this September. Any tips/advice/ suggestions on the most interesting way to 'stage' the journey appreciated.
2) First time from Dublin Port as opposed to Rosslare (thanks, Irish Ferries).....any tips on where to overnight near the port also welcome.
Thanks in advance.

Haven’t been to Bruges for years but there is an Aire close to the train station which is handy for the city. Last time I was there I bought six different beer glasses from a shop in the centre. The guy took them out the back to wrap them. When I got home he has put one in with a missing bit out of the foot of the glass. There was no missing piece in the wrapping. I remember the shop well could you pay him a visit for me
