On way to Glenarm and 12v has stopped working

Is anyone able to help me. I’ve stopped at Carnfunnock Countey Park for a while on my way to Glenarm (Dalriada Festival) most of the 12v has suddenly stopped and I don’t know why. The lights and pump and “clicker” for the gas do not work but the 12v that runs the gas heating works. I have 2 batteries and I know they are fine. I see a trip but that is fine and it is for the mains anyway. Not sure if anyone who is handy with 12v electrics will be at Glenarm to help or can advise me over the forum. It could be a sticky relay that is not switching from main back to 12v I do not have main power booked for this weekend so my fridge full of food will go off if I do not get a solution.

The van is a 1998 LMC based on a Ducato. I have removed the cover off the mains electrics but it makes no sense to me.

I have found a 25A fuse and it must be blown but it is physically much bigger than than typical fuses. I held two small 25A fuses together so that they touched the terminals and the 12v systems started working again. Just need to get a “Large” 12A fuse firm somewhere!

Jumbo fuses Gavin, any Autofactors or typically found in GM cars under the bonnet if there is a breaker nearby.

Alternatively,
Standard fuse holder.
Get two short wires with a female crimp on for the fuse side.
At the other end use male crimp on.
The males should fit into the terminals on the jumbo fuse.
A quick fix for the weekend.
Any service garage or motor factors would have this in stock.

Cheers guys. I had to do a quick McGuyver job to save the food in the fridge. I bent a terminal on each fuse and used insulating tape to hold them together. That meant two terminals were the width of the jumbo fuse and I am back in business. I think it should be safe enough until I get a new jumbo fuse. Worst thing is the fuse would blow again - I assume!

Gavin, hunt Nick down (Helga hobby) and Paul Hannant (PaulH) , Paul will probably have one. He's in the Vegas RV. I can ring him if you want.

Cobbled together fuse has not blown yet and just the usual load has been on it - few light switches, hot water temperature dial and the water pump. Not sure what caused it to blow but the fuse looked a fair age.

@Ally , I got chatting to Paul earlier and he has said to call over if I have any problems. When the 12v first went the wide was going to head for home but I said the beat place to get help is where there are a lot of motorhomers and especially a few craicers! I had plenty of fuses luckily but didn’t realise there was a jumbo one in the mix so I will get a stock of those. It took some digging behind the water heater to find that fuse and I was hoping that was all it was. Cheers for all the help everyone.

Serious number of vans here as well as caravans and tents. A sea of white. I could t get and angle wide enough to get them all in so there are a lot more out of shot left and right. Quite a few motorhomes in the harbour area too of course.

I figured out the issue is the 12v switch that runs the fridge from the engine battery/alternator. 12v was fine and I switched on the red switch on the fridge and drove for half an hour and the lights and pump etc had stopped again. I knew the switch needed attention as it can take a few clicks to get it to come on. I’m assuming it is a loose wire somewhere so I will need to take he panel off to have a look. I did ask a Motorhome service place to look at the switch for me a few months ago but it worked first time for them and they left it at that 🙄.
